UX Case Study

01.
Introduction

I was asked to research ways to present tradesmen to the general public for an application. As a project this involved user research and interviews to establish what people needed from the app, as well as looking at the current user journey.

02.
User Research

Using information from the user journey map, scripts were developed to establish how users responded to the page, and what they felt was missing.

Information from these interviews was collated into a report and compared to data already available. This report was used as a path into wireframing ideas.

03.
Wireframes

A number of different wireframes were produced, both lo fidelity and high fidelity. These were compared with the outcomes of the user research to check all needs were met.

04.
Prototypes

Once a working set of wireframes had been produced, prototypes were designed. These were each tested with users both online and in situ. Gradual iterations were made based on these tests before arriving at a final set of prototypes.
