Brief:

Perfect Balance Clinic initially commisioned me to design a newsletter for their clients. They wanted something that looked classy but also didn’t make them look like a medical practitioner. Further work has included development of the brand and internal communications.

Process:

I researched a lot of sports and medical newsletters to get a feel for the industry, but also worked to a brief that wanted a premium look. I designed the newsletter and all subsequent materials using the idea of a circle, to convey completeness and balance. The circle has been used in a variety of ways throughout the multiple brands.

My next task was to develop the brand to encompass the different areas of the practice, including corporate, pregnancy and sports. I used a system of colours for this to allow a uniform look to literature with subtle differentiation.

Outcome:

I have continued working with Perfect Balance Clinic as the sole designer and have worked on a variety of projects including websites and animation. The company has continued to open new clinics and grow.
