Adversent is an online education company, providing video courses on digital marketing worldwide.

The project involved designing a user dashboard that would allow users to access their current courses but also allow them to choose other related courses.

I took the lead throughout the process and worked with other designers and the development team to complete the project.

We conducted user reviews of the existing dashboard using questionnaires and also live observations. We used this information to ascertain what the issues were with the user experience.

We also did a lot of research using other video based sites to see how other companies based around video dealt with user experience.

The team created lo fi wireframes to explore some of the ideas we had been developing and used these to refine our ideas into a final concept.

Once we had designed a final concept, we built a working prototype in Adobe XD, which allowed us to test with users in a live setting.

The challenge with this project was designing a dashboard that fulfilled a number of different needs, from carrying on a video course from the point you left it to being able to purchase other related courses. We learnt a lot about the benefits and pitfalls of designing with video and the power of testing with live users.
